As I mentioned the other day, my mom, sisters and I threw a bridal shower for our soon-to-be sister-in-law yesterday, and guess what – it was a hit! Everyone had a really great time and a few of the guests told us how well they thought we did with the whole event, from the decor to the activities. Naturally, I took a million photos (okay, more like 250), so I have a lot of sorting and a bit of editing to do, but I promise I will post pictures of the event later this week. Today, however, I wanted to share my outfit and just a few family pictures.
I wore a hot pink floral print dress from American Eagle with my favorite tan leather platform wedges. I kept the accessories minimal because it was killer hot yesterday and the dress has a pretty loud personality of its own, so I simply wore a tiny gold heart necklace and matching thin gold chain bracelet. I also added another teeny pop of color with navy stud earrings to pull out the navy flowers on the dress and, of course, my matching hot pink nails. Here is a picture of me with the bride, Samantha!
She looked darling in her pale, off-white “bridal” dress, don’t you think?? A few more pictures of the lovely ladies I call family:
Three generations from left to right: Kristi (me, duh), Addie (my grandmother), Nancy (my mom), Sarah and Kasey (my two sisters). I have to admit, I am part of a very beautiful – and stylish – family!
With the bride: Kasey (my sister), Kristi (me again), Samantha (the bride and soon-to-be sister-in-law), Nancy (my mom) and Sarah (my sister).
I had so much fun yesterday, I can’t wait to get more pictures together to show you the rest of the shower – coming sooooon! Thanks for reading :)
