My brother’s wedding has finally come and gone and I have finally gotten around to going through the photos. I didn’t actually take a million photos because I was busy being a guest – duh! – but I did manage to scrape together a pretty good overview of the event. The day itself was full of the usual hustle and bustle beforehand – setting up the room, hanging all of the twinkly lights and lanterns (the lighting was my job) and, of course, getting ourselves all dolled up. But once it was time to start the show, everyone seemed to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting and the fun festivities.
(a quick pic of the setup of the room)
(my brother escorting my grandmother – I made her skirt!)
(the bride’s family – as you can see, all the men of the wedding wore board shorts, so fun!)
(my brother – the groom! – escorting my mom)
(waiting for the bride – with pup Marley)
(the bride and her father)
(the bride and groom, mom and the siblings – including me!)
(Marley dog in her wedding ensemble, my gift to the bride and groom!)
(me and the boyfriend)

After all of the months of planning and hard work, everything turned out great. The room came together spectacularly, the food was delicious, the evening was super fun and I loved my dress! It is still hard for me to believe that the same brother I grew up with – playing cops and robbers and watching Chips (Ponch and John!) – is now married, but I know he is going to be a great husband and I know he and his wife (!) will have an amazing life together. Congratulations Nate and Sam!
And just in case you missed all the posts leading up to the wedding, don’t miss out on the Bridal Shower at the Beach, A Rad Engagement Shoot (here’s the sneak peek, too!) or A Rad Wedding Rehearsal. Thanks for reading :)
