Happy Thanksgiving! Today I will be spending the day with my mom and my grandmother, eating the traditional turkey and all the trimmings and putting up the Christmas decorations at my grandmother’s house. I have so much to be thankful for – from an amazing, supportive, loving family to my boyfriend (of almost 8 years, eek!) and his welcoming family to all of my inspiring and awesome friends! – but, most especially, I wanted to take a quick moment to thank all of you for reading my little blog.
I started this blog really on a whim, as a challenge to myself to see if I could keep it up, but it has become so much more than that to me. It is a creative outlet, a source of constant inspiration and a way to connect with people from around the world who share similar interests and passions. I am so grateful for all of your support and positive feedback, and while I know we are not exactly changing the world here, I am still amazed and inspired by the opportunity to share my life and share in all of your lives, if even for just a little bit. So, thank you!
Okay, now that that’s out of the way, I have pictures from my trip to the desert yesterday! It was such a beautiful day – crisp, clear and just a little chilly – that we all had a great time riding the quads and shooting at clay pigeons. I also had a little adventure myself yesterday; I took my first spill off a bike. I am totally fine, and it wasn’t a bad fall at all, but I am pretty sore today and I think I may have scared the wits out of my poor boyfriend’s dad. Sorry, Jimmy! Sadly, I don’t have any pictures of the accident to share, or even a nasty bruise to show off (I know, what?!), but I do have another thing to be grateful for – my health and well-being! Anyway, here are a few pictures I did snap:

Thanks for reading and Happy Thanksgiving :)
