Hello, friends!  Have I shared my love of silky pants with you yet??  I will admit that I was hesitant at first to try the whole “pajama pant” trend because I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off, but once I tried them on, I knew I had to have them!  I have actually had these pants for a couple months, and have worn them several times, but I finally got around to photographing them the other day and I just couldn’t wait to share.

These pants are soft, slouchy, silky, lightweight and oh-so-comfortable!  What’s not to love??  And, they are surprisingly versatile!  I was afraid at first that I wouldn’t get much wear out of them, especially because they are such a trendy piece, but I have loved wearing these silky pants around town for running errands, hanging out at home on days off and even to work.  I picked up this particular pair at American Eagle and I am tempted to get another pair – or two!

For this look, I went ultra casual and comfy with a soft, gray v-neck t-shirt, a jersey knit scarf and my choice lilac Converse.  I spent the day entertaining my favorite rugrat, and these pants could not have been more perfect for tea parties, skipping races and drawing with sidewalk chalk.  I can’t wait to pair them with a tank top and sandals next, however, as the weather is warming up.  I bet they would also look great with some sleek heeled sandals and a dressier top and blazer for a snazzier look!!
