A quick look back at the year and my most popular posts of 2014. Let’s jump right in, shall we?

Style:
- Thrift Style Thursday – Dress Like a Celebrity
- Rompin’ Around | Thrift Style Thursday
- Playing with Pastels – A Refashion Love Story {Thrift Style Thursday}
- Just Be You | Thrift Style Thursday
In terms of style, it has been a really fun year for me. Through the always fabulous Thrift Style Thursdays, I have been thriftier, and more fashionable, than ever. But, more importantly, it has helped me become more creative in putting outfits together and given me the confidence to try so many different styles and trends that I probably never would have, especially had I played it safe and continued shopping solely at the mall.
I cannot wait for you to see the new and improved Thrift Style Thursday we’ve got coming for the new year, starting this Thursday! Stay tuned!

DIY:
- DIY Valentine’s Day Cards
- Dress-to-Skirt Refashion Tutorial {Me-Made-May}
- #DelightfulDIY & #Giveaway: Blanket Scarves!
- DIY Personalized Glitter Cup
I have had SO MUCH FUN this year making, creating, and flexing those “DIY muscles!” Looking back, I think I did more refashions this year than in my whole sewing history, and they were some of my most popular posts (2 of my style posts are refashions). I’ve had a blast sharing some creative DIY’s with you, so look forward to more in the future!

Nails:
- A Cup of Fall | #MonthlyMani September
- #ThinkPink Ombre Nails | #MonthlyMani October
- Daisies + New Nail Art Link Up!
- Radiant Orchid – Nail Art Link Up
With the creation of #MonthlyMani’s this year, I have really had to step up my nail art game. It has been challenging, to say the least, but really so much fun to not only get creative with my own nail design, but to see all the talented ladies of #MonthlyMani showcase their skills as well. I am blown away each month with all of the unique and cool designs they come up with!

My Personal Faves:
- How To: Be Confident
- Thrift Style Thursday – The “Mocktail” Dress
- Pom-Pom Shorts DIY Refashion
- Hiking Mount Baldy
These are just some of my own personal favorite posts from the past year. Several of my other favorites are among the most popular posts, which really makes me happy, but these were particular favorites of mine, especially How To Be Confident. That post, and the comments I received, was a really big affirmation that I am contributing something, even if it’s not something significant, to the blogging community. And of course, I had to include one of my favorite thrifted dresses, one of my favorite refashions and one of my favorite adventures from the past year, as well.
2014 has been a great year, in no small part due to you, my fantastic readers and friends. I definitely wouldn’t be blogging without your kind words of support and encouragement. And while 2014 was great, I am so excited for the year ahead because I have a whole new set of goals and lots of plans to make it even bigger and better
Cheers to a new year, and thanks for reading!
