As most of you probably know by now, I have injured my left index finger and have had it in a bandage for a couple weeks (and will probably have to have it on for a couple more weeks). Unfortunately, this means that my nails have been neglected. I decided that since I can’t really paint my nails properly, this would be the perfect time to try out the super fun set of Jamberry nail wraps that a friend of mine sent me!
If you’ve never heard of Jamberry before, they are fun nail wraps that you apply to your nails, almost like stickers, but they are much more durable and come in a million adorable designs, each cuter than the next! Check out the site and be sure to let my friend, Heather (Mrs. Stevens), know if she can hook you up!! ;)
The application requires a bit of a learning curve, but it’s not too hard to get the hang of, and Jamberry has helpful videos to show you how. Even with my bum finger I managed to get them on without too much trouble! ;)
And just because I couldn’t resist sharing, here’s my, uh, cute (??) finger all bandaged up with my much prettier jamicure. The designs really are so much fun, and I can’t wait to try out some of the accent nail designs for my next manicure!
So far, I am really pleased with how the nail wraps are standing up. I am really tough on my nails, but they’ve already survived playing at the playground, climbing trees, baking, doing the dishes, and that was just today! I’ll be interested in comparing the wraps to regular polish when I try out one of the accent designs.
Have you ever tried any sort of nail wrap before? Do you think you would ever try a Jamberry Jamicure?? Let me know because I might just be able to swing a giveaway if anyone is interested! ;)
Oh, and before I forget, our next #MonthlyMani will be in 3 weeks on Tuesday, March 17th, and the theme is St. Patrick’s Day! Let me know if you want to join in on the fun – all you have to do is paint your nails according to the theme, post on Tuesday the 17th and link up!
As always, thanks for reading! :)
PS. Thanks, Heather, you rock! :)
