It’s Thursday – woop, woop! That means that the work week is almost over AND it’s Thrift Style Thursday!! I am not complaining or anything, but is it just me or has it been a long week??
I don’t normally post many “workwear” outfits because my jobs don’t have much of a dress code; but, I was inspired by a recent thrift find. So, for today’s “Winter Blues” theme – brought to us by Andrea of Little Did You Know – I am sharing a very blue workwear look!
I found this gorgeous Banana Republic blouse on sale at a local Salvation Army for only a few dollars (I don’t remember exactly), and I knew that while it wasn’t super exciting, it would make a great wardrobe staple. Plus, the pretty shade of blue and the unique pattern were my inspiration for this week’s outfit – yay!
The knit blazer I probably should have waited to wear in a post, because it’s a gift from a fellow Thrift Style Thursday’er from our Thrift Style Thursday Swap (that we’ll be talking all about tomorrow), but I couldn’t wait! I love this blazer – it fits like a dream, it’s soft, comfy and it was thrifted just for me!! Okay, that’s all I’m saying, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the rest! ;)
Outfit details: knit blazer (gift, thrifted) // blue tank blouse (Banana Republic, thrifted) // blue skinny jeans (Old Navy) // leather oxford flats (Marshall’s) // blue stud earrings (H&M) // gold stamped necklace (gift) // vintage cuff bracelet (gift)
You know that pair of shoes that you don’t need, and you know you will only be able to wear so often, but they’re pretty and nice and you just have to have them anyway?? That was this pair of real Italian leather oxfords that feel like butter on my skin and make me feel runway chic. Sigh. I just had to, guys.
Do you have a “guilty pleasure” item in your closet, too? What is it?? (C’mon, you can tell me! ;))
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Thrift Style Thursday girl gang to see how they’re battling the “Winter Blues” in style!
As always, thanks for reading! :)
