Today’s Thrift Style Thursday theme is “Au Natural” brought to you by yours truly! To be honest, I am not quite sure what I was thinking when I came up with this theme, except that I wanted something kinda bohemian and figured that “inspired by nature” would be a good theme for early spring!

So, when I thrifted and then made these festival-ready shorts I knew they would be the key to this week’s look. I thrifted the vintage jeans for only $3 – you can see how I made the shorts here – and the cotton crop tunic top for only $2! The rain boots and accessories were already in my closet.

I am pretty much in love with this outfit, and I know I’ll be wearing both the shorts and the top a lot this summer. I love the lightweight cotton fabric of this top and the shape of the dip hem means I can wear it equally well with low or high waist bottoms. Gotta love versatility!

The shorts were so easy to make, and I can’t wait for the hem and the patches to start fraying and showing some natural wear. I guess this week’s theme, to me, is all about comfort and freedom and feeling good in your own skin – au natural. (That totally works, right??) ;)

The details: cotton top (Savers) // patch cutoff shorts (Savers & DIY) // rain boots (Tretorn) // bracelets (thrifted) // rings (gifts)

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Thrift Style Thursday babes to see what “Au Natural” looks they’re flaunting this week!
What does au natural mean to you? Would you rock a festival thrift style look like this one??
As always, thanks for reading!
