I hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend!! I went camping in the desert with Derek and family on Friday and Saturday, riding quads, sitting around the fire and getting dirty. Then I cleaned up for Easter Sunday and spent time with my family catching up, doing a quick egg hunt with the kiddos and plenty of eating! ;)
Since we held the Easter festivities at our house, I got to fill and hide the eggs for my niece and nephews. It was so much fun hiding them around the backyard and watching the kids find them. My nephews were a little young to really “hunt” for the eggs, but they did have fun throwing them at the ground and watching them crack open with little packages of fish crackers popping out!
I got this dress from eShakti, which, if you’ve been around my blog for a while, you’ll know I have quite the love affair going on with this site. I was first introduced to eShakti when they asked me to try one of their custom made-to-order dresses in exchange for a review, but after that first dress, I was hooked!
This newest dress is no exception. I love the fit, the shape, the material, everything! Plus, it’s really well made, it has bra strap keeps AND it has pockets!! (You can see the first eShakti dress here, a very bohemian sShakti tunic outfit here, and my most recent eShakti wear from Valentine’s Day here.)
Oh, and did I mention the V-neck in the back and the super twirly skirt?? Fave! I decided to keep my look simple and comfortable since I knew I would be chasing after my 15-month-old nephews most of the day. I wanted to look cute and festive, but still be me, so a pretty dress and tennis shoes did the trick!
Details: gingham dress (eShakti) // tennis shoes (Payless) // stud earrings (H&M)
Did you do anything fun or exciting this weekend? More importantly, what did you wear?? ;)
Thanks for reading!
