This week’s theme is all about gingham – one of my favorite spring prints – brought to us by Carissa of Carissa Knits! I got really excited when I saw the theme for this week, but then I realized that I own very little gingham, BUT I did remember this pretty mint green gingham fabric in my stash. So, a few hours later, I had sewed up this super easy swing top!
I paired the top with my equally fun thrifted polka dot jeans, added a mix of delicate and vintage accessories, and finished the look off with my retro (and so comfortable) sandals. I actually wore this outfit for my birthday yesterday. Derek took these photos outside of Arthur’s – the restaurant where we went out for breakfast. It’s pretty much an old folks’ hangout, but they have really great french toast and fried chicken and waffles!
