In case you’ve been living under a very unfashionable rock, the 70’s are back in full swing with bell bottoms, platform shoes and peasant blouses in abundance. This makes today’s “That 70’s Show” theme from Brittany of The B Life absolutely perfect for Thrift Style Thursday! After all, what better way to show that you can shop in thrift stores and still be on trend?!
For my look today, I chose this thrifted peasant blouse with beautiful embroidery detail and a tie neck with my highest waist jeans in a washed out blue color. To finish off the outfit, I wore my stacked platform heels that are oh-so-seventies and some eclectic accessories.
The details: peasant blouse (thrifted) // high waist jeans (Old Navy) // platform shoes (DSW) // vintage leather purse (thrift swap) // leather belt (AE, old) // bead necklace (borrowed) // evil eye bracelet, heart bracelet, leather bracelet (gifts) // faux opal ring (thrifted) // midi rings (handmade)
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Thrift Style Thursday crew to see what far out duds they’re rocking this week! And of course our newest groovy member Alison of Nouveau North Westerners:
Are you into this latest reincarnation of the 70’s trend? Gimme the skinny, can you dig it?? ;)
