Happy Thursday, friends! This week’s theme is “Maximum Impact” brought to us by Megan from Traverse. Accordingly, we were tasked with styling a maxi dress or skirt. This proved easy for me because I own exactly one maxi skirt (sorry, but I am just not a fan of maxi dresses, or skirts). So, I pulled my one maxi skirt out of my closet and got to styling it!
The details: white crop top (thrifted) // floral maxi skirt (Ross) // black footbed sandals (Sofft via DSW) // silver headband (gift) // blue drop bead earrings (handmade) // silver turtle necklace (market in Hawaii) // navy braided bracelet (handmade)
I have to say, as much as I don’t love maxi dresses or skirts, I do love this one. The material is lightweight and doesn’t wrinkle, the bright blue color and floral pattern are beautiful, and the polka dot waistband is a super fun and unexpected addition. I really had fun playing up the boho maxi skirt style with the cropped tunic top and accessories!
Check out the rest of the Thrift Style Thursday crew – and newest member Alison of Nouveau North Westerners – to see how they made maximum impact with their maxi dress (or skirt) styling:
So, how did I do? Did I achieve my boho maxi skirt styling successfully?? ;)
