I love bright, happy colors, and pink is no exception! Which is why I was surprised to find so little pink in my closet for this week’s “Pretty in Pink” theme from Carissa of Carissa Knits. Luckily, I found this pretty pink sleeveless blouse I thrifted last year!
I had actually been contemplating getting rid of this tank top because I don’t wear it a whole lot; but, this week’s challenge was the perfect opportunity for me to re-imagine this top with my current wardrobe! I decided to go play with contrast and mix this ultra-feminine delicate top with some destroyed light wash skinny jeans. I also added gold accessories to kick the style up a notch! I’m pretty much in love with this thrifted pink top all over again!
The details: pink sleeveless top (Vera Wang, thrifted) // light destroyed jeans (American Eagle) // gold slip-on shoes (AE via Marshall’s) // gold skinny belt (hand-me-down) // wrap bead bracelet (thrifted)
Psst! Can I also just mention how much I LOVE these new American Eagle gold metallic slip-on flats that I scored for only $10 this weekend at Marshall’s?! OBSESSED!
Anywayyyyy, don’t forget to check out the rest of the Thrift Style Thursday crew – including Alison of Nouveau North Westerners – to see how they styled their pretty in pink thrift finds!
So, are you inspired to thrift pink?? ;)
As always, thanks for reading!
