It’s almost 4th of July, so the Thrift Style Thursday ladies are getting patriotic! This week’s theme is “America the Beautiful” by Megan from Traverse – although of course our international participants will be substituting their country of choice! ;)
I actually thrifted this red, white and blue top months ago, but have been debating altering it. I decided to leave it just the way it is because it is the perfect breezy blouse for the 4th! I added some super comfy, cute linen shorts and my hand-painted refashioned cowboy boots to complete this all-American look!
The details: blouse (Forever 21, thrifted) // linen shorts (Old Navy) // cowboy boots (thrifted, refashion) // red bead bracelet (gift) // multi-colored bracelets (old) // red stud earrings (Forever 21)
I’m excited to celebrate the 4th with family and friends, keeping it low key and relaxed after a hectic couple of weeks. In fact, my favorite part of Independence Day every year is sitting in lawn chairs on my boyfriend’s front yard watching all of the illegal fireworks going off in their part of the city hee hee!
Do you have any traditions you follow for the 4th? How will you be celebrating this year??
Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Thrift Style Thursday crew – and Alison of Nouveau North Westerners – to see what looks they’re styling for this week’s patriotic theme!
Thanks for reading!
