Denim Blue | Workwear Wednesday

April 6, 2016

This week’s Workwear Wednesday theme is “Favorite Color” – can you guess mine??  I wear A LOT of blue, not just because it’s my favorite color, but I also happen to think it’s a pretty flattering color on myself.  I have dresses, tops, skirts and pants in all shades of blue from solids to stripes to florals.  Today, I’m sharing a new plaid top with a fun high-low hem!

I wore this outfit to work for a “Casual Friday” look on the last Friday before spring break.  Needless to say, the comfortable combination kept me cool while dealing with a little pre-vacation craziness from the students haha!  Actually, the kids were all really good, and I was pretty proud of them for keeping it together all day –  I was the one who couldn’t wait to get out of there!  ;)

(Though, can you blame me??  I spent the week adventuring in Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks – pictures to come,  I promise!!)

The details: blue plaid shirt (Old Navy) // pale olive green capri pants (T.J. Maxx) // gold slip-on flats (American Eagle via Marshall’s) // wrap bracelet (thrifted) // blue stud earrings (H&M)
