FINALLY! It feels like Spring Break and my trip to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks was months ago, but it was only a couple weeks. Still, I have been busy pretty much non-stop since I got back and I’ve only just found the time to edit my photos. While I did take A TON of photos, I didn’t actually take quite as many as I thought. I really tried to soak up as much of the natural beauty as I could, because, well, Yosemite.
It was mine and my friend’s first time visiting Yosemite National Park, and it was absolutely stunning. If you’ve never been, I cannot recommend it enough. In just under one week we saw all of the big sights – El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Vernal Falls, Nevada Falls, Bridalveil Falls, Mirror Lake, and more! – we went on several hikes (including the spectacular Mist Trail), showshoeing on the mountain with a park ranger, and we even visited the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad (I love hokey, tourist traps, and trains)!
I tried to keep the photos here to a minimum; I hope you enjoy! :)
It was an incredible, memorable trip that I won’t soon forget, made all the more special because I was able to share it with one of my best friends. It was one of those trips where you instantly know it’s going to be great, when you’re happy/exhausted at the end of each day and where you come away with as many inside jokes as amazing photos. I kinda can’t wait to go back! ;)
Have you visited any of the National Parks? Which one do you recommend I hit next??
As always, thanks for reading!
