Spring Fling Jamberry Nails | #MonthlyMani

March 21, 2017

Time for a Spring Fling, baby!

Spring is officially here and I am celebrating with a quick and easy, no mess DIY manicure.  Okay, maybe it’s not exactly the nail art I usually share, but I have to admit that I have had zero time for doing my nails lately, so Jamberry nails wraps to the rescue!  Check out my spring Jamberry nails:

My favorite part about Jamberry’s is that they don’t require any dry time.  Just warm ’em up, apply them to your nails, file off any excess and that’s it!  I did this set in under 30 minutes the other morning and then headed to work.

My only complaint is that lately they haven’t been lasting as long as they used to.  I’m not sure if it’s because they are not so new and maybe the adhesive is getting old; or, if I have been using too much heat when applying them….  Either way, still fun and totally easy!

On a side note, I realized that I have only posted once a month since the beginning of the year… which means this is only my third post of 2017, and each post has been a #MonthlyMani post.  No outfits, not even a single DIY or project post.  Yikes!  I want to apologize, I am sincerely sorry.

I guess this blog has fallen a bit by the wayside.  In my defense, I am now working full time, going back to school (I have class two nights per week this semester), AND I just opened a new Etsy shop, Snickety Witch.  All of my free time lately has been spent doing homework, trying to catch up with friends or family or, for the most part, sewing my Harry Potter inspired robes.  I am hoping that when this semester is over, I’ll have some more free time for other projects, but at the moment, well, I’m doing the best I can.  Anyway, back to my nails:

The mosaic pattern on these wraps, and the pretty blue, pink and orange colors, totally made me think of warmer weather.  I have loved all the rain we’ve gotten this winter, but I am also excited for some tank top and sandal days.  I am just going to keep channeling sunny days with my spring Jamberry nails, don’t mine me!

Have you ever tried Jamberry nail wraps?  What are your favorite nail colors for spring??

I’ve always wondered about the Jamberry nailthings, I love the idea of not having to paint your nails, because WOW – I’m really bad at it. Congrats on going back to school and your Etsy store!

Thanks, Nout!! I am actually enjoying my classes for the most part, though homework and tests are still a drag haha!

I really like the Jamberry’s because they have super fun patterns and I’ve had them last for weeks at a time before, but then I’ve also had them last for only like a day before starting to peel off, so I’m not sure if it’s me or what, but they can be totally awesome haha!
