What I Wore: Easter Egg Hunt

April 3, 2018

Hoppy Easter, Friends!

I hope you had a lovely Easter/Passover/weekend!  I had a nice, relaxing day hanging out with family and, of course, taking my new role as Aunty Easter Bunny very seriously.

I found these super cute ears at Target in their bestest-ever Dollar Spot (amiright?!) and knew I had to have them right away!  Considering they were only $3 AND I wore them twice this year – once at work for our Egg Hunt with the kids and then on Easter itself – I would call that purchase a rousing success!  Anyway, on to the rest of the outfit:

floral top: ThredUP // raw hem jeans: Old Navy // bralette: Aerie // Vans: DSW // ears: Target

Since I knew I would be busy all day helping my mom, hiding eggs and generally chasing after nieces and nephews, a casual Easter outfit was the order of the day.  Comfort was definitely my top priority, so jeans and tennis shoes were my first pick.  Next came this fun floral, off-the-shoulder top I thrifted from ThredUp, paired with a pale pink lace bralette from Aerie.  I added a couple accessories, dusted on some mineral makeup for an easy breezy feel, and I was ready!

I particularly like this top because it looks just as good with the sleeves up on my shoulders as it does with the sleeves down.  I like the look of off-the-shoulder tops, but they just aren’t always practical… like, when you have to move your arms.  Or is it just me that seems unable to function in these things??  Either way, this top solved that problem for me and still fit in with my casual Easter outfit!

I also love that the lace bralette totally matches my blush pink Vans (can you say obsessed??)!  These shoes are a somewhat recent purchase, but they became immediate favorites.  The same goes for the Alex and Ani Disney bracelets I bought sometime around Christmas.  They are my new favorite accessory and I wear one or the other at least once a week.

Well, that’s my casual Easter outfit.  Aside from the slightly dressier top, it’s pretty much what I wear every day haha!  I do love that working with kids means I get to dress casual – I am a casual girl for sure!

What did you wear for Easter (or Passover, or the weekend)?  Did you dress up or dress down??

As always, thanks for reading!  :)
